History
Company "Daiļrade Koks" was established in 1994 by privatizing three furniture production facilities of the prior state owned enterprise "Daiļrade" which produced souvenirs and handicraft. The furniture export possibilities to Europe were set as the further vision of the company development. The economic and social preconditions of that time were beneficial for the company to develop very rapidly and successfully. The second cornerstone of our business development was the farsighted decision to go into business of sales of furniture components, that gave us not only profit from wholesaling, but also ability to supply our own furniture production with the raw materials.

The company developed rapidly and started to produce more and more original furniture models for the export, and as a logical next step of the development was our own furniture shop. This is how furniture shop "Ciekurs" was created - from the beginning planned as a shop not just for our production.

Today "Dailrade Koks" is a modern company with more than 500 employees (together with the subsidiary company "Valmieras Mēbeles"). There are four production facilities across Lativa, headquarters and the warehouses are located in Riga.
